Residency refers to the location of your permanent residence. Your Minnesota residency status can be one of these:
- Full-year resident, as determined by:
- Nonresident
- Part-Year Resident
Special residency rules apply to:
- Aliens (Foreign Nationals)
- Active-Duty Military Personnel
- Students
