Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE)

field_block:node:page:body

The Minnesota Department of Revenue needs organizations throughout Minnesota to provide accessible, free tax assistance to underserved communities through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs.

VITA and TCE program sites offer free tax assistance to:

  • People with an annual income less than $67,000
  • People with disabilities
  • People who speak limited English
  • People who are age 60 or older

By opening a VITA or TCE location, you can help make sure everyone reports, pays, and receives the right amount.

In opening a site, you’ll make a meaningful difference in our communities and help expand access to quality tax assistance services for all of Minnesota.
