In-Person Customer Service

The Minnesota Department of Revenue provides customer service at the Stassen Building in St. Paul on a first-come, first-served basis.

You can find answers to most of your tax questions on this website. We encourage you to call or email us with your questions. Our phone agents have the same information as those in person. See our Contact Us page.

For in-person customer service, be prepared to provide a valid state or federal government photo identification and your Social Security Number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).

The Stassen Building is open to the public 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. See About Us for more information.
