e-Services is our online filing and paying system for businesses and individuals. You can use e-Services to access tax information, make payments, communicate with us, and view account information.

Signing up for e-Services [+]

Business e-Services Accounts

You must have a Minnesota Tax ID number and temporary password to sign up for a business e-Services username.

If you registered online: You're already signed up for e-Services.
If you registered by phone or mail: We provided a temporary password in your confirmation letter.
Go to e-Services and select Create a Username under the New to e-Services? section. Follow the instructions to set up your account.
To see which tax accounts can be filed, paid or viewed in e-Services, go to the Accounts Available page.

Individual e-Services Accounts

You can use e-Services to check your balance, make payments, communicate with us, and manage your personal tax information. For details, visit Setup an Individual e-Services Account.

Do not wait until the last minute

Although you have until the due date to file your return, it is beneficial to log in to e-Services ahead of time. If you have any difficulty with two-step verification, you will have time to resolve issues before filing and paying taxes.

Verification code emails

Internal servers and security settings of your business may delay or even prevent you from receiving verification emails. If your business has such email filters, make sure to add eservices-code.mdor@state.mn.us as a trusted email address. Contact your computer support area or email provider for assistance. Please allow up to five minutes to receive your code.

Verification code text messages

In addition to your email address, providing a cell phone number to receive your verification code by text message gives you an alternative option for verification email. Please allow up to five minutes to receive your code.

Logging in after hours

Our contact centers are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST. If you are having trouble logging in to your account after hours, you will need to wait until our contact centers are open to receive assistance.

Remember my device

If you select the box labeled "Trust this device," you will not need to enter a verification code again. A verification code will only be required if you:

Log in with a device that has not logged in to the account.
Switch browsers.
Delete browser cookies.

Two-step verification is a commonly used security method. As technology advances, we will continue to improve our security to keep your confidential information safe. We do not use your verification email or text contact information for any other purpose.
