Notice of Sale

State law requires the Minnesota Department of Revenue to publish a notice of sale before selling property we have seized to collect a debt. We must publish this notice six weeks before the sale on our website and in a newspaper or other widely distributed publication in the county where we seized the property.
Note: We may advertise the sale in other places too.
The notice of sale specifies the property to be sold, the time, place, manner, and conditions of the sale. We will sell the entire property or, if it can be divided, the portion of the property needed to cover the debt we are collecting plus sales-related expenses.
