Set Up an Individual e-Services Account

You can create an individual e-Services account to access your personal tax information online.

You can use e-Services to:

Check your balance
Make payments
Communicate with us
Access some letters we send you
View summaries of your recent income tax returns

Additionally, if you are receiving advance payments of your Child Tax Credit, you can make some changes to the way you receive payments.

Checking the status of your refund?
You cannot access the status of your refund by logging into your individual e-Services account. You must use our Where's My Refund? system.

We'll add new features to e-Services as they become available. If you set up a username and have access to your personal tax accounts, you will automatically get access to new features.

Set Up an e-Services Username [+]

To set up an account:

Go to the e-Services login page.
Select Create a username below the login fields.
Select Create an Individual username.
Follow the prompts.

Note: We must verify your identity based on the information you give us before you can use your account for some features. Follow the steps in the Access Your Personal Tax Accounts section below and wait for the verification process to complete.
