File Petroleum Tax Electronically

Licensed taxpayers are mandated to file electronically.

What type of returns can I file electronically?

• Gasoline, Special Fuel and Alternative Fuel tax returns
• Amended Gasoline, Special Fuel and Alternative Fuel Tax returns

What do I need to file electronically?

• Internet access. Your Internet browser must meet the Minnesota e-Services System Requirements.  See e-Services Information for details.
• Your e-Services username and password

When you file the return, you'll receive a confirmation number, time and date stamp. You can use the confirmation number to search for your return request later. (Log in to e-Services.)
