Gather Form I-9 acceptable documents to show your identity and authorization to work. Bring those documents with you on your first day.
Note: Do not fill out the OneStop I-9 form online. You will complete it in-person on your first day.
Our dress code is Dress for the Workday. On your first day, you will take your badge photo and be given a tour of parts of the building. Come ready to get your photo taken and wear comfortable shoes or bring comfortable shoes to change into.
You may dress in more casual attire, but here are items to avoid:
Human Resources will give you more information about our dress code during your orientation. For more information or questions, contact Human Resources or your supervisor.
On your first day, you will come to the Harold E. Stassen Office Building at 600 N. Robert St., in St. Paul. You can get here on public transit by light rail or bus. If you drive, you must pay for parking in a nearby surface lot or ramp.
Stassen Parking Map
For more information, see About Us, under Directions and Parking.
Currently, the Stassen Building does not have a cafeteria or café, so make plans on what you want to eat or drink during the day.
Pack Your Own Food and Beverage
You may bring in your own food and beverages. We have refrigerators and eating spaces available. You will see where these are located during the building tour.
Dine Out
There are options you can go to for lunch or coffee breaks. Some nearby places to eat include:
- Lunds & Byerlys
- Keys Cafe & Bakery
- Sawatdee Saint Paul
- Jimmy John's
- Regions Hospital's on-site café and deli
In warm weather, you can often find food trucks around the nearby State Capitol Building.
On Your First Day
Bring your Form I-9 documents and arrive at the Stassen Building at the scheduled time. Check in at the desk in the lobby with your photo ID and let them know you are meeting with Human Resources. Human Resources will greet you and host orientation until noon.
During the orientation, you will:
- Complete Form I-9 and other required paperwork
- Learn more about working for Revenue, our work policies, employee benefits, and more
- Get a tour of our hybrid office space
- Receive equipment needed for your job such as a laptop, monitors, and a keyboard
Afterwards, you will meet with your supervisor or training team for the rest of the day.
