SSL is an encryption model used by many websites including online banking and retailers. With this technology, only the user's computer and the secure server are able to recognize the data. User Access [+] The systems were designed to restrict information to only people who have permission to view it. In Audit Room and Virtual Room, rooms are isolated from each other. Access is added on a per room basis. All files are secured on servers at Revenue. Data and files are not hosted or stored in the cloud. User Accounts [+] All system users have a unique user name and password. The password expires every 90 days to revalidate the account owner's access. Users are encouraged to change their password and keep it private to prevent unauthorized use of their account. Accountability [+] Revenue takes security very seriously and is held to federal and state standards. The systems are regularly reviewed and tested to improve security.
