In this last issue of 2026, we’re sharing a new series of public meetings called Engaging Minnesota to Help Property Taxpayers, upcoming courses, and a few updates on local sales, use, and excise taxes. We also upgraded our e-Services system recently.
Thank You for Your Partnership
As the year winds down, we want to thank you for your work to help Minnesotans file accurately, understand what they qualify for, and receive or pay the right amount. We appreciate your efforts in informing clients about the advance Child Tax Credit payments and Renter’s Credit, protecting clients from cybercriminals, and staying updated on tax laws.
Thank you also for helping us improve our work by sharing your input and client concerns. Your insights helped us clarify our forms and instructions, systems, website, and other resources. We encourage you to stay engaged with us because your participation makes a meaningful difference.
Be sure to:
Please continue to share common client concerns, topics that need more clarity, and how we can better communicate with you.
We’re grateful for your partnership, and we look forward to working with you and learning more from you in 2027.
Engaging Minnesota to Help Property Taxpayers
From August to October, we’re holding a series of public meetings called Engaging Minnesota to Help Property Taxpayers.
Our goal is to find meaningful ways to support property taxpayers by examining the state's property tax system from their point of view. We’re exploring ways to make the system easier to understand, more accessible, more accountable, and simpler and less costly. All Minnesota property taxpayers are invited to participate and share their input.
Join our last meeting for a wrap-up and reflections from Revenue:
Date: Tuesday, October 27
Time: 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Location: Online and in-person
Registration: Register to get the meeting location and online link.
After the last meeting, we plan to create a short report summarizing what we learned, identifying potential recommendations, and highlighting topics that need further discussion. The report will be available on our website.
For videos of each meeting, presentation materials, and other information, visit Engaging Minnesota to Help Property Taxpayers.
e-Services System Upgrade
We upgraded e-Services, our online filing and payment system, earlier this year.
The upgrade maintains the overall look, feel, and functionality of e-Services. Aside from a few visual changes, the upgrade does not change the way you work in e-Services.
The upgrade features:
- A streamlined and enhanced payment process
- More self-service options to manage your information
- A more consistent experience across all tax types
- Enhanced security to protect your data
This upgrade allows us to continue enhancing and expanding e-Services into the future.
It also gives our customer service agents new tools to provide you with even better customer support.
