All estates and trusts are granted an automatic six-month extension to file Form M2, Income Tax Return for Estates and Trusts, if tax owed is paid by the regular due date.

If the Internal Revenue Service grants an extension of time to file your federal return, your state filing due date is extended to the federal due date.

Make a Payment

To avoid penalties and interest, you must pay any tax owed for the year by the regular due date.
