ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Revenue updated the online postings of Minnesota businesses prohibited from purchasing:

  • Liquor, beer or wine to resell
  • Cannabis products to resell

Businesses on these lists are delinquent in filing or paying one or more of the following taxes and fees: Sales Tax, Withholding Tax, Partnership Minimum Fees, S Corporation Tax, and Corporate Income Tax. Minnesota Sales and Withholding taxes are paid by customers or employees with the expectation that businesses will remit them to the state on their behalf. These funds cannot be used by a business as additional operating capital or for any other purpose.

Distributors cannot sell or deliver products to the listed businesses. Once a business pays the taxes owed, we remove it from the respective list within two business days.

  1. Go to www.revenue.state.mn.us
  2. Enter "Tax Delinquency" into the Search box
