State Assessed Property Forum

The State Assessed Property Section assesses utility, pipeline, and railroad operating property. We hold a forum each year with industry representatives, counties, and other stakeholders. General topics include: 

• Valuation
• Property record reporting and tracking
• Parcel ID assignments
• State Assessed Property Section updates

About the Forum

The State Assessed Property Forum an opportunity for interested parties to discuss a variety of topics that impact the administration of railroad, utility, and pipeline property taxes. 

Participants include company representatives from these industries, and county assessors and auditors. We use this forum to provide updates and discuss issues of mutual interest, and to foster discussions between each group.
