The Minnesota Tax Handbook gives an overview of state and local taxes. It includes general information about each major tax type, such as what is taxed, how much is collected, and how tax laws have changed over time. We update the handbook every two years, with supplements published in between.

Instructions for Print Editions (2020 to present) [+]

Print Handbook in PDF Reader (2020 edition to present)

In your PDF reader, use the following print settings:

Under Page Sizing & Handling, select Booklet mode
Set the Booklet Subset to Both Sides, with Binding as Left (Tall)
Set the Orientation to Portrait
Select the Auto-Rotate option

You should see an image of the cover on half the print preview. If you do not, you may have an additional setting selected. To construct booklet trim top and bottom and use a saddle stapler or similar to bind.

Print Supplement (2021 edition to present)

In your printer settings select print on both sides [double-sided].
