LoginMN at Revenue
LoginMN at Revenue
For Minnesota Department of Revenue Online Systems
LoginMN is Minnesota’s new secure and centralized sign-on service that lets you create a single username and password to access various state services, including the online systems at Revenue.
It combines convenience with strong protections, using multi-factor authentication (MFA) and other advanced security features to keep your information safe.
What do I need to do?
You do not need to create a LoginMN account until you are notified or directed to by the system you use.
What systems will be impacted?
We are adding our systems to LoginMN one at a time. We expect all Revenue systems that have a username and password to use LoginMN in the future.
In the first half of 2026, we expect these systems to begin using LoginMN:
Should I use a business or personal account?
In most situations, when you use a link from our website to log in to an application, you will be automatically directed to the correct account type. If an application can be accessed from either a business or a personal account, you will be asked to choose Business or Personal before logging in to LoginMN.
- Business: Use when you are representing a business or government to access applications for your work.
- Personal: Use when you are accessing applications for yourself.
You cannot access business applications with your personal account, and you cannot access personal applications with your business account.
When will e-Services accounts use LoginMN?
At this time, we do not have LoginMN scheduled for e-Services.
