• Nonfiler and Tax Compliance Initiatives
  Beginning in 2001, the department was appropriated $10 million by the Minnesota Legislature to fund new enforcement initiatives. These initiatives generated an additional $97.3 million in the 2002-2003 biennium. The department undertook similar compliance initiatives in subsequent years.
