About This Page

The Minnesota Department of Revenue is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website:

Details about our CPE courses and NASBA:
  • We currently offer only basic and overview-level courses and in the Taxes - Technical NASBA field of study.
  • We don't require any preparation or prerequisites before the course.
  • The courses are offered using the “group live” instructional method including a PowerPoint presentation.
  • Each class accommodates 20 to 40 students. We may cancel the class if there aren't enough registered participants; if that happens, we will email you five (5) days before the class.
  • CPE credits are offered for participants who complete a Certificate of Attendance Request form at the end of class.
