What do we do?
The Minnesota Department of Revenue manages the state’s revenue system and administers state tax laws. We manage 28 different taxes, collecting over $12 billion annually. This money funds education, property tax relief, highways and transit, health care, social services, local government services, economic development incentives for businesses and workers, parks, correctional facilities and other state programs.
