This course provides an in-depth review of statutory requirements that apply to the board of appeal season for both local and county boards of appeal meetings. This course will cover:
- The roles and responsibilities of the assessor's office
- An overview of the timeline and statutory dates that must be met
- How to manage boards when they are out of compliance with statutory requirements
- Administering open book and local board meetings
- FAQ's and discussion regarding difficult situations that come up
