The site coordinator plays an important role to ensure the success of their free tax assistance program. They oversee the quality of services and provide effective tax site management for their volunteers and customers.

- Create a welcome environment to ensure volunteers, customers, and staff have a rewarding experience.
- Provide high quality tax preparation services and protect customers’ private data.
- Strong organizational skills to manage tax site operations.
- Ability to recruit and retain volunteers.
- Willingness to learn and stay current with new tax law changes.
Required VITA/TCE Certifications:
Coordinators who provide tax law assistance, correct rejected returns, or quality review tax returns must have one or both certifications:
