Filing Season Opens January 27

The state Individual Income Tax filing season begins January 27, 2020, the same date as the IRS starts accepting federal tax returns for tax year 2019. For more information, read our press release.

Federal Law Change Update

Due to federal law changes in December, individuals may need to file Schedule M1NC, Federal Adjustments, with their 2019 Minnesota Individual Income Tax return. For more information, see Federal Adjustments.
