  • What is the minimum amount that I can pay on a payment agreement?Back to top

    The amount you pay is based on your current financial situation. It is in your best interest to pay your debt quickly as penalties and interest increase the amount you owe.  ​

  • Why did you take my refund if I already have a payment agreement?Back to top

    We will offset (take) your refund in addition to other actions we're taking to collect your debt. This will reduce your balance and your payment agreement may end earlier. You must continue to make all scheduled payments until your debt is paid in full.

  • Can I make changes to my payment agreement?Back to top

  • I forgot to send in my signed payment agreement, what should I do?Back to top

    Send your signed agreement now. Since you verbally accepted the payment agreement, we will withdraw the funds from your account, even without the signed document.  

  • What happens if I change banks?Back to top

    We will make the necessary changes to take your payment from the new account. Call us at 651-556-3003 or 800-657-3909 (toll-free). Provide your new bank routing and account numbers​.

  • When will you stop taking payments?Back to top

    We will stop taking payments when the terms of your agreement are complete or you no longer have an outstanding balance.

  • What if there is not enough money in the bank to cover the payment?Back to top

  • How will my payment agreement be affected if I file my tax return and have a balance due?Back to top

    We may cancel a payment agreement if you do not file tax returns and pay what you owe by the due date. Call 651-556-3003 or 800-657-3909 (toll-free) to discuss your situation.​ We may also cancel your agreement if another state agency debt is added to your account.
